Day 1: Reconnecting with your coaching identity and confidence

Welcome and group introductions

  • The retreat begins with an intentional welcome circle, where participants share their experiences and intentions for the weekend. This moment of connection will foster a sense of community and support, ensuring a safe space for growth and transformation.

Exploring your coaching journey

  • Reflect on your past coaching experiences - what you’ve learned, what worked, and what challenged you. Through facilitated exercises, participants will explore the key moments that shaped their coaching practice, allowing them to reconnect with their core coaching identity.

In this session, you’ll address these barriers by exploring the root causes of your hesitation and shifting limiting beliefs. Learn how to build confidence from a place of self-compassion, focusing on how far you’ve come and the value you bring as an experienced coach.

Coaching practice sessions

  • Engage in structured coaching exercises where you can practice with peers in a supportive environment. These sessions will help you regain confidence in your coaching abilities, refresh your coaching techniques, and receive constructive feedback to guide your development.

Journaling and group reflection

Executive coaching

Executive coaching 121

Course overview

Executive coaching is an action-orientated developmental intervention where, through discussion, we explore realities to meet outcomes and actions.

Your executive coach is a highly experienced senior leader who engages in regular supervision to ensure they deliver a high-quality experience for you.

Why executive coaching?

Executive coaching differs from other development activities:

  • It is a confidential 1-2-1 activity
  • Through contracting, you decide the flow, level of challenge and the outcomes you want to achieve
  • It is generally an hour in length providing time for you to set your own actions and reflect on the session.

How many sessions do I need?

This depends on you and you can stop the coaching at any time. The maximum number of sessions is six; however, this can begin again after a break or as a ‘just in time’ intervention. On occasion, people can feel that one session has met the need. Control over attendance and how many sessions is always yours.
