The origins of the Model

The CARE Coaching Model was born out of more than a decade of coaching and leadership development across health, care, education, and other values-led sectors.

Through this experience, Will observed that while many models focused on goals and performance, fewer addressed how leaders and coaches bring themselves into the process - the presence, attunement, and balance that underpin sustainable effectiveness.

CARE was created to fill that gap. It places equal emphasis on the inner work of the coach or leader and the outer work of supporting others. It’s both reflective and practical, helping people show up with purpose, empathy, and resilience.
